Meet my best friend Jordan, Jay-Wall, J. Cole,  Jordo, whatever. 

We go waaaay back.

I'm talking pre-high school, pre-college, pre-husbands, pre-babies kind of way back!

Many of you may already be familiar with Jordan from the It Works Wraps give away she hosted with Amber-licious.  So, I decided to try this wrap myself and well plain and simple friends, IT WORKS! It really tightens up your skin, like seriously.

Most of my fat is stored in my hips, and if it isn't there, it's in my thighs and butt (currently being worked out though because it's #backthatazzupfriday). But really, I'm so un proportioned. Thanks, genetics! I've got a serious case of Muffin Tops, Love Handles, Newlywed Hips call them what 'ya want, but I got 'em!

After 72 hours, I lost a total of 2.5 inches 

I'm kind of  healthy. I eat right for the most part and work out periodically, more so off than on lately with nursing school, and have my bottle glass of red wine with dinner. But this just gives me the extra boost I needed to keep off those 2.5 inches. When I look at these results, I say to myself (in my Uncle Si voice, of course) "Hey Jack, quit being lazy! Don't let those muffin tops come back, Jack!" And just like that, they ain't coming back.

Weekend Shenanigans, sex party! Whaaat!

Other than study for my injection check off and 2 tests I have today, I went to one of those Pure Romance parties this weekend. I've only been to one other, so I was so outside of my element.

I'm so conservative when it comes to this kind of stuff. I have no problem talking about it with my husband, sister, friends...but being around strangers talking about lube, c rings, and vibrating bunny rabbits makes me run the other way. I giggle like a little girl.

After some Merlot, everyone comes out of their shell some, right? I ended up leaving with things I never imagined even existed. I had a great time. It is so good to get out of the house from studying and having some girl time with wine, sharing of stories, and tasting all of the edible lubes. HAHA! No really, it was fun. Sunday Social Week 42

1. What is your favorite thing about Spring?  The changing of the weather so I can roll down my windows when I drive. It's my fave. 
2. What is your favorite flower to grow or receive? To receive, gerber daisies. To grow, nything that doesn't depend on me. 
3. What is your favorite nail polish color? any OPI shades of Pink.  

     4.  What is your favorite outdoor activity?

I love running outside in the early morning and evening when spring arrives.

I'm running a mud run in a few weeks, followed by attending a Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan concert

We went on Tuesday to get Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara and with a purchase of any Tarte purchase, you recieve eye shadow primer and a mini Lights Camera Lashes. SCORE! I love this mascara. I see more of a lengthening when I use it, but it increases volume as well. 

I also snagged up some more Ulta nail polish in Mint Condition and Eye Popping Poppy and NYX Hi Definition Photo Concealer 

I got Benefit's Perk-up Artist and it's probably the $30 I've ever spent. I received a free cosmetic bag with this purchase, which is always amazing! Also with the purchase of Benefit products, I got free samples of It's Potent eye cream and Hello Flawless oxygen wow Foundation. 

It's safe to say I'm a slave to Benefit Cosmetics now

Now, #backthatazzup with Fat Joe and Murder INC.  How come all my old school jams are rap? Probably because I was so gangster back then with my slicked back pony tail, air force 1's, and over sized tshirt tucked in only in the front. HA!  Every time I hear this song, my mind goes back to middle school, my sister was graduating high school and I was cruisin' around with her in her s10. Fat Joe and Ja Rule were our jams, and if you don't agree they were yours too, then STOP LYING!

It's OK...

• that my Spring Break has me a little thrown off schedule. I can't believe it's already Thursday!
• to over flow your cereal bowl, just a little
• to be known as your apartment's taddle tale (as an adult) when they all annoy the piss out of you 
• to have the courtesy officer on speed dial just in case they do
• to want to pack my husband in a box and send him to you (kidding but not kidding)
• to decorate all of my school binders in chevron and monograms when I should be studying
• to miss my Momma and Daddy as much as I do
• to put myself out there and write a letter to the Dept of Nursing when I was misinformed on crap
• to rock white legs in spring
• to still wear jeans in spring
• to drink black coffee when I know my stomach doesn't like it

Irish eyes are smilin'

I'm so happy to have you at my little corner of the internet machine.

It's Monday, blaaaaah. Back to full speed of nursing school and the snowball keeps on rolling. But it's almost the end of March, DIDN'T I JUST START? Wasn't it just January? This year is flying by! But, I think I'm okay with that for now.  I had so much fun over my Spring Break. I definitely relaxed, studied, and caught up on errands and to do lists. But, I also got to have FUN! My parents came down to Savannah for St. Patrick's day weekend to continue our annual partying, Powers style. 

We sat by Lafayette Square and I was saddened they were doing construction on St. John the Baptist Cathedral because it would sure have made for some amazing pictures on this beautiful day.  

As always, my favorite part of the parade is the Budweiser Clydesdale horses

But seriously, how cute is this Lily Pulitzer Jeep?

After the parade, we migrated over to city market for lunch, which is where I like to call the local's spot

And I sure do love fireman dressed in kilts

I went with y'alls advice and added gold as my accessory choice! But I can't help but put on those green beads :)
